A Banking Error Left This Guy With A Limitless Overdraft, So He Blows $2.1 Million (8 pics)

It all started in 2010 when Luke Moore, who was 22 years old at that time, discovered that there is a banking error which left him with a limitless overdraft. He started withdrawing money and by the end of the year he was $9,000 in debt, but he found that the bank didn’t react no matter how much he withdrew, so he continued to do so.
Overall he withdrew $2.1million and blew them on fast cars, art, holidays, a boat and strippers.

He was arrested in 2015 after his haul was discovered. He also had another $1.1 million stashed away in accounts with other banks that he had to give back. Moore was sentenced to more than 4 years but last week his conviction was overturned. “The NSW Court of Criminal Appeal found that, while Mr. Moore had taken the money, he had not been deceptive and ruled his conviction a mistake.” [DailyMail]. Now he is broke and lives at home with his mother while studying criminal law.
